Registered Behavior Technician
The Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) role is a vital position in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy. As an RBT, you will play a crucial role in delivering comprehensive and evidence-based interventions to individuals with autism and developmental disabilities.
Working closely with a team of compassionate professionals, your primary focus will be on implementing behavior treatment plans, collecting data, and assisting clients in reaching their full potential. Job Responsibilities
​
Under the direction and oversight of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA):

Provide 1:1 ABA therapy within clients’ homes, in the community, and in school settings.

Implement the developed treatment plans and behavior reduction plans for assigned clients.

Collect data to monitor clients’ progress and effectiveness of implemented plans.
In Partnership with a BCBA:

Support the BCBA by providing caregiver training and ongoing care to clients as needed over. This collaborative approach ensures comprehensive and effective interventions for individual goals.

Support the BCBA in the implementation of assessments and updating of progress reports as deemed appropriate by clinician.
Complete clinical session notes following insurance and organizational guidelines at the end of each client therapy session and ensure that notes are submitted in a timely fashion and in accordance with Company policy.

Ensure that clients have positive and rewarding therapy sessions through the attitude and active engagement the RBT brings to those sessions.
And ensures that they conduct themselves in compliance with the rules, policies, and procedures described in the Company’s clinical manual and in keeping with the Company’s vision and core values.
Participates in weekly supervision and team meetings.

An ideal candidate is one who is passionate about working collaboratively with others as part of a multi-disciplinary team and enjoys working with individuals diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder, ADHD, learning/developmental disabilities, and other co-occurring conditions.

Has a passion for learning, growing and challenging themselves professionally.

Is proactive about seeking opportunities to learn from supervisors, colleagues, continuing education, and other sources within the field, and apply their expanding knowledge base and skill set in their clinical work.

Has worked within the home and community settings and/or is eager to learn best ways to support clients in their natural environments.

Contributes a solution-focused mindset to challenges that arise within human services.

Possesses a mature sense of empathy and patience.

Demonstrates excellent written and spoken communication skills, and able to convey nuanced, thoughtful discussions through clinical notes and interactions with clients and caregivers.

Has reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

Requires HS diploma or GED equivalent.

Ideal: Associates, bachelor’s degree or some college courses with an interest in pursuing a higher level of education in behavior analysis or child development/psychology.

Certification: (RBT): If certification has lapsed or has not been obtained, Next Level ABA is willing to provide training and will cover the cost for certification/test (upon successful completion of the course and passing the certification exam) after 90 days of employment with the Company.

Locations & Hours
The Greater Boston & Surrounding areas, with services provided primarily in the homes of clients, out in the community, and school settings. Hours will vary and require flexibility for weekend and evenings.
